Thanks to Ballymote Community Council for the opportunity to present to the IPB Pride of Place judges about our new development last Friday. A lot of work on their part in putting together a great itinerary. Thanks to our clubs Ballymote GAA & LGFA Corran AC for their support. And our little helpers on the day handing out fliers 🙂

Big milestone achieved today with the new grass pitch at our development (internally in the athletics track) seeded and fertilized before the next few days rain. Thank you to all our donaters, community founder’s and ticket buyers who have gotten us this far.

LOTS OF PROGRESS- our new community internal grass pitch is now formed with drainage underneath. Seeding outstanding. The track is layout is clearly formed (with detailed stone levelling+tar to go). Thanks to Damien Murtagh for the great photos.

PROGRESS - detailed drainage on the internal grass pitch within the athletics track is progressing with topsoil being put back in later this week to start developing the surface of the grass pitch.

PROGRESS THIS WEEK - this week we can see the rear entrance ramp forming (off the back lane) and the curve of the new athletics track forming.
