Met Éireann has issuaed a STATUS RED Wind warning for Sligo, Leitrim and Mayo. Valid from 4am to 12 Noon on Friday 24th January.

Gale to storm force southerly winds becoming westerly will bring severe, damaging and extremely destructive gusts in excess of 130km/h

We are seeking lifesaving volunteers from the Collooney and Coolaney area to become Community First Responders.The group covers emergency calls in the Collooney and Coolaney areas, but with time been an essential factor in saving lives we need volunteers from local areas to respond to calls quickly and effectively to cardiac arrest,stroke and choking emergencies. If you are interested in making a significant impact in your community and helping to save lives, please consider joining this vital cause.The aim of this meeting is to recruit new volunteers to our group and in the future ideally start a new Collooney Defibrillator Group to respond to calls.
A meeting has been arranged for Monday 7th October at 7.30 pm in the reading wing room Staint Paul's Church of Ireland Collooney Co Sligo, F91v213
