This weekend is The 228th Anniversary of The Battle of Ballinamuck.

To mark this occasion Fr Pat Lennon will hold A Prayer Service at The Croppies Grave on Shanmullagh Hill at 7pm on Saturday September 5th. Transport to and from The 98 Hall Carpark to The Croppies Grave will be provided on the evening.
After The Prayer Service Fr Pat Lennon’s book “Come Here A Second Till I Tell You” will be launched in The 98 Hall at 8pm where refreshments will be served.

As always everyone is welcome.

🎨✨ What a Transformation! ✨🎨

We were delighted to work alongside Ballinamuck Foroige Juniors to give the walls around the playground and Astro area a much-needed update.

We were thrilled to have local artist, Phil Atkinson, bring his creativity to life and create these absolutely fabulous murals on both walls. 🎨🖌️

The finished result has completely brightened up the area and has added a fantastic splash of colour and character to our community space. 💛

A huge thank you to Phil for his amazing work and to the Ballinamuck Foroige Juniors for working with us on this project.

We are absolutely delighted with how it has turned out! 😍👏

Another little project completed to make our village and community spaces even better for everyone to enjoy. 💚

We recently purchased a 2nd picnic bench to go down in area opposite Johnny's cottage thanks to Local Enhancement Funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development and The Gaeltacht & Longford County Council and we provided match funding.

This is a welcomed addition to this area.

Our community volunteers finished the tidying up the community garden at Gaigue cross this week, Its looks really well now,

Thanks to Department of Rural Community Development & the Gaeltacht Tidy Towns funding we were able to add a additional picnic bench and some additional plants to that area to add more colour.

Thanks again to our volunteers who continue to join us to work on projects for our community 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
