Athy Community Mens Shed Community based group for men of all ages to come together and undertake a variety of activities. A Men’s Shed is a Community based group for men of all ages.

Athy Men’s Shed was established in Oct 2011. We welcome visitors and guests to come along and say hello over a cuppa and a chat. No two sheds are the same but the objectives are similar in that they create a space for men to come and learn or share a skill, have a chat or just have a cup of tea. Over the years and with the help of members, donors and sponsors; we have added a kitchen, a tooling ar

ea and a workshop, we’ve also added and a pool and darts room. Athy is a unique town, it has some challenges but it also has lots of opportunities and community activity. It has a wealth of cultural talent and skilled people among its residents and it has people who are looking to get involved in the community. Men’s Sheds provide that opportunity to become part of a group, to be valued and to contribute to your area.
