Before we took a break for July, the club held a sponsored stayawake, raising money for Darkness Into Light. All members and leaders that partook stayed up from 9PM to 9AM, occupying our time with games of D&D, a mystery video game tournament that included a karaoke round, and quite a few caffeinated drinks.

Also, just a reminder that July 18th is the date for the get-together at the club in commemoration of Billy Browne.

What a week! We took tonight off following our 4-day trip to Inis Oírr, and boy golly did we need it. Cycling and hiking around to see the sites on the island, late nights of playing board and card games provided by leaders and members alike, and plenty of great meals courtesy of Lizzie Fenlon made this a real trip to remember, especially for our first-timers. Massive thanks as always to Linda at Brú Radharc na Mara hostel for the exceptional hospitality and also to Lisa for bussing us to and from Rossaveal and keeping everyone in good spirits all the way! None of it would have been possible without the tireless efforts of our leaders Eimear Carroll, David Byrne, Elizabeth Jane, Dina Molloy, Luke Delaney Quinn, Liam Harrington and of course the stellar participation and behaviour of our members.
Thanks for a fantastic week everybody!

We'll be attending the Family Fun Day at the Athy branch of the People First Credit Union this Thursday, April 2nd, at 2PM! It promises to be a good time for all, and an opportunity for young people to start getting to grips with their finances or just score themselves an extra Easter Egg. Massive thanks to Niamh Whelan for the workshop with our members and leaders last night! Everybody got well into making the bird boxes and we look forward to seeing the finished products in a couple of weeks after our annual trip to Inis Oírr.

We also had a board game night last week with a focus on social deduction games which was a blast!

We will be open as usual this Friday for our Late Late Breakfast Club from 7PM till 10PM.

It was Aontas Ógra’s pleasure to host the Picture This lads this past Friday before and after their SOLD OUT show in the Dreamland ballroom! Massive thanks to all who helped the weekend to go off without a hitch. Regular club activities will resume this week on Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 PM and on Friday from 7 - 10 PM.
