Our mid-meeting coffee break on Thursday gave WoW Members a chance to peruse the used book sale in aid of Worksop Musical Theatre Society 🙌

WoW raised £52 on the night! Thanks, Laura Leedham for bringing the book sale to Lady Margaret Hall! 🫶

When the universe interrupts our best-laid plans, the WoW Committee faces a dilemma: Do we cancel or try to salvage the night? Thursday night proved that our community is what makes our meetings so special.

Huge thanks to everyone for making our impromptu Thursday Quiz Night a success when our original speaker couldn't make it. It was lovely to see you all throwing yourselves into the spirit of things with some glorious team names! 🥰

Have you forgiven us for the Mozambique question yet? 🫣

⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE ⚠️ Due to unforeseen circumstances, our lovely speaker, Katherine, can't join us for Three Acres & a Cow tonight. Rather than cancel, we’ve embraced the adage “The Show Must Go On” and are throwing a quiz night instead.

Come along, throw together your quiz team over a cuppa and a slice of cake and join us for trivia fun!

Same time. Same place. Same WoW welcome. See you there!

It's officially puffball season. Has anyone else been foraging for these woodland delights yet? 🍄🍂
