‼️ UPDATE FOLLOWING LAST NIGHT’S MEETING ‼️

Thank you to everyone who attended, including representatives from the police.

It was a very enlightening meeting, during which examples of actual incidents were discussed.

The clear message from the police was: please report everything. Nothing is too minor or inconsequential. Unless incidents are reported and a clear pattern can be identified, the police may be unable to take further action.

If you feel hesitant or need help reporting something, please come to the Community Centre and we will support you and help take the necessary steps. Alternatively, you can contact Rollo, who will also assist you.

It was suggested during the meeting that there is a black-and-white divide within our community. We completely REJECT this suggestion. Moorclose Community Centreand Moorclose as a community, welcomes and supports everyone, regardless of race, background or circumstances. We are proud to be an inclusive community and community centre where everyone is treated equally.

But let's face it, no matter what country you are from. Taking photos/videos of children and flowing people is unacceptable. SO REPORT IT!!!

To collate evidence for our authorities and how to conduct ourselves safely.
How to educate our vulnerable targets. How to get to safety or request help.
