As Stevie Scholeyโ€™s Testimonial Year comes to an end, we just want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an absolutely fantastic 12 months.

Itโ€™s been a year that Stevie truly deserved after 10+ years of dedication and commitment to Workington Town. His loyalty, hard work and passion for the club made this testimonial year so special, and we couldnโ€™t be prouder of what it has been.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank each and every one of you who supported Stevie and us as his committee throughout the last year. There are simply too many people to name individually, but you all know who you are. Your support at events, your sponsorships, donations, kind words and encouragement have meant more than we can say.

As Stevieโ€™s committee, we would also like to thank Stevie himself for choosing us to be such a big part of his testimonial journey. It has been a privilege to work alongside him, and we look forward to continuing to support him on the field this season.

We donโ€™t yet have a final total of what has been raised, but we know Stevie will be incredibly grateful for whatever amount has been achieved. The fact that he will also be donating a percentage to some of his chosen charities shows exactly the kind of person he is generous, humble and always thinking of others.
