Some inconsiderate individual has driven over the path, smashed the wood sidings and across the grass at the lake, all for getting their vehicle 10 metres closer to a peg, without any thought of the hard work the club and members have put into the place.

Not only that we found empty b**r bottles and cans, evidence of a fire and dog crap all over the same peg. This is not the type of behaviour we expect of our members, if this is what they think is acceptable, don’t bother renewing next year, we don’t want this type of member at our club.

If anyone sees anything like this happening at the club please get in touch and we will deal it accordingly. Thanks.

October. Here are the catch pictures members have sent in and shared from last month. October has seen the start of the winter storms with Austen and Boelo but that hasn’t stopped our members catching some nice fish 🐟

Another big milestone achieved for our club in 2026. 220 metres of stoned pathway and 11 pegs have been added around the Back pond. This now gives full and complete access around our lakes for all of our members to enjoy.

A huge thanks to Wayne and his team at WBL groundworks for taking on the task, which was very challenging given the environment he had to work in. Tonnes of stripping and foliage had to be cleared before the paths could be laid.

Thanks to the committee for their time and members for their patience during the construction and apologies for any disturbances while the work was carried out.

Please be aware from today, there will be site traffic and heavy machinery around the lakes. Work is commencing on the Back Pond path and peg construction. Take all precautions and remain vigilant at all times to avoid any accidents or incidents. Park any vehicles away from the routes that they may require during construction.
