We’re looking for a face painter to help at our Armed Forces Day & Family Fun Day at Trimdon Grange Community Centre on Saturday 20th June 🇬🇧

This is always a fantastic community event, and face painting is always a huge hit with the children! We’d love to hear from anyone who could volunteer their time to help make the day extra special.

Whether you’re a professional, experienced, or simply have a talent for face painting and would like to support a great local event, we’d love to hear from you ❤️

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – ARMED FORCES DAY & FAMILY FUN DAY

We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help make this year’s Armed Forces Day & Family Fun Day at Trimdon Grange Community Centre a fantastic day for everyone!

We need extra hands to help with:
⭐ Setting up & packing away
⭐ Supporting stalls and activities
⭐ Welcoming visitors
⭐ General helping throughout the day
⭐ Face painter needed 🎨
⭐ Help with stalls and keeping everything running smoothly

Whether you can spare a couple of hours or the full day, your support would make a huge difference and help create a brilliant day for our community as we come together to celebrate and support our Armed Forces.

It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people, gain experience and be part of something special ❤️

🌿✨ Our Nature Trail Adventure was a great success! ✨🌿

The children had a fantastic time following the nature trail, expertly led by our volunteer Dave 👏

Along the way, they explored the outdoors and collected different plants and natural materials to bring back to the centre, where they got creative sticking their discoveries onto paper to make their own nature art 🍃🌼🎨

After all their exploring, everyone enjoyed the packed lunches back at the centre 🥪😊

A huge thank you to Dave for leading such a lovely activity, and a special thank you to our amazing kitchen ladies for preparing the packed lunches for the kids 💛

Thank you also to all the children and parents who came along and made it such an enjoyable day.

It was wonderful to see so much curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm for nature! 🦋🌳💚

☀️ Nature Trail Adventure Reminder ☀️

A quick reminder for all parents/carers of children registered for tomorrow’s Nature Walk 🌿

As we’re expecting to be outdoors and in open areas for approximately 1–1.5 hours before returning to the centre, please ensure your child arrives with:

🧴 Sun cream applied (and bring some along if needed)
🧢 A sun hat/cap
💧 A drink/water bottle
👟 Suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing

Please help us make sure everyone is comfortable, safe and ready to enjoy the adventure ☀️🌳
