Fancy some fresh air this week and some great company?
Join our Long Health Walks group for a gentle stroll along the River Wylye in Heytesbury. The walk has very little road walking - some through pretty little villages, but mainly through fields and marked paths.

The weather is looking good for this walk with the temperature expected to be about 19 or 20 degrees so please remember to bring water with you - and a hat if the sun comes out!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Carers Tea Party at The Balsam Centre today. It was really lovely to spend time together and recognise the amazing contribution unpaid carers make every day.

We hope you enjoyed a well-earned break, some tasty treats and the chance to chat with others who understand the caring role. It was a pleasure to bring everyone together. ☕

Youth Connect South West Youth Club runs every Tuesday, 6:30–8:30 PM at the MUGA/Skate Park area in Cale Park. Come along for games, music, sports and more in a safe and welcoming space. 🎶⚽🎨

🌿 Do you enjoy spending time outdoors and helping others? 🌿

We're looking for volunteers to become Nature Buddies as part of our Step into Nature programme!

As a Nature Buddy, you'll support people to connect with nature, build their confidence, and take part in activities that can improve their health and wellbeing. Whether it's a gentle walk, exploring local green spaces, or simply encouraging someone to get outside, you'll help people overcome barriers and discover what works best for them.

It's a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while enjoying the benefits of nature yourself. With Summer in full swing there is no better time to get involved.

Remember we are holding a Tea Party on Friday 12th June here at the Balsam Centre between 12.30pm and 2.30pm for all the unpaid carers in the area.

Calling all unpaid carers

Do you spend your time caring for a loved one, family member or friend? Then this one's for you.

Wincanton Cares are delighted to be offering a FREE Gong Bath session with Carmen Belle White as a small thank you for everything you do. 🌿✨

Take an hour just for yourself and enjoy the soothing sounds and deep relaxation of a gong bath in a calm and welcoming space.

📅 Wednesday 10th June
🕓 4.00pm – 5.00pm
📍 Wincanton Methodist Hall, BA9 9JF

Please bring a yoga mat (or something similar), along with a pillow and blanket so you can get comfortable.

The session is free to attend, although donations are welcome.
