🎃 Our Milborne Port Halloween Map is ready! 🎃

Thank you to everyone who added their home. We’ve got a brilliant number of pumpkins on the map this year! Each one marks a house that’s happy to welcome trick-or-treaters tomorrow night, so save the map to your phone or print it off before you head out.

A few friendly reminders so everyone has a lovely evening:
👻 Please only knock at homes with a pumpkin or decorations outside
🔦 Bring a torch and take care crossing roads
🍬 Be polite, say thank you, and take just one or two treats so there’s enough for everyone
🏡 Be respectful of people’s homes, gardens and neighbours

🎃👻 Milborne Port Trick or Treat Map 2026! 👻🎃

Calling all Halloween-loving households of Milborne Port! 🕸️

This year we’re putting together a village trick or treat map so our little (and not-so-little) ghouls, witches and pumpkins know exactly which doors to knock on, and so those who’d rather not be disturbed can enjoy a quiet evening.

If your home will be welcoming trick or treaters on Saturday 31st October, please pop your address in the comments below! House name/number and street only 🍬

It doesn’t matter whether you’ll be answering the door or leaving a bowl of goodies on the doorstep. If you’re happy for trick or treaters to call, we’d love to add you to the map.

A pumpkin or decoration outside on the night is a great way to show you’re taking part too 🎃

We’ll share the finished map here closer to the day. Please share this post so we reach as many households as possible. Let’s make it a spooktacular night for all the young trick or treaters in the village! 🧙‍♀️🦇

🎄🎅❄️CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON❄️🎅🎄

Come and join us on SATURDAY 28TH Nov for our Christmas Light Switch on at St John’s Church and Church House.

We listened to your feedback and have changed the Switch On to Saturday and the actual switch on is a later time.

☀️Fete season is in full swing and this Saturday it’s the turn of St John’s Church☀️

After supporting the primary school PTFA with their fete last weekend the SOMP team are back out this Saturday supporting the church - come and find Claire and Mandy to Splat a Rat or Hook a Duck.

🌞😎The sun's out - don't miss our summer fete this Saturday!

📆11 July from 2pm on St John's Church lawns, Bathwell Lane, Milborne Port

Lots of stalls and fun for all the family, including our Grand Prize Draw!
First prize tea for four in the House of Lords and lots more great prizes to be won. Thanks to all those in the village who have kindly donated prizes
You can buy tickets in advance from Wayne the butchers, or on the day. The draw will be at 4pm.

Free entry to the fete, so come and enjoy a summer's afternoon in our lovely church grounds, and maybe some cool inside church too!

Peals on Wheels, books, decorate a fairy cake with a fairy, bottle stall, sweet stall, plant stall, cake stall, coconut shy, human fruit machine, Live music from "One for the Road" and more!
