We have an exciting programme of speakers and events at South Cadbury VH over the year. We belong to the local Stavordale Group of WI's and to the wider Somerset County Federation of Women's Institutes - we are one of 131 WI's in Somerset! As members we can take part in a wide range of Group, Federation and National Activities which are advertised in the monthly County News. The WI plays a unique

role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities. WI is now the largest voluntary women's organisation in the UK. The WI celebrated its centenary in 2015 and currently has almost 220,000 members in approximately 6,300 WIs.
