Today, Friday 23rd October, the team at South Lancashire Breast Screening Service is wearing pink with pride to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗🌸
We're joining people across the country to raise awareness of breast cancer, celebrate those affected, remember loved ones and help make a difference to the lives of patients and their families.
💕 Why does breast screening matter?
Breast screening can help detect breast cancer at an early stage, often before there are any signs or symptoms. If you receive an invitation for your breast screening appointment, please don't ignore it. Attending could make a real difference.

Here at South Lancashire Breast Screening Service, we're proud to support women throughout their breast screening journey, helping them feel informed, comfortable and cared for.
Today, we're also supporting our In Pink 2 Comfort and Care Campaign, in association with Three Wishes, helping us improve the experience and comfort of patients using our breast screening services. 💗
🧁 We're celebrating Wear It Pink Day with our Charity Bake Off and cake sale today at 12.30 pm in the seminar room. Everyone across our departments is welcome to come along, buy some delicious cakes and support this wonderful cause!
