CAN YOU HELP??

For our summer fun day this year, we will be transforming our school field into a music festival!!! If you or anyone you know can help source the following, please get in touch on 01942 487 999 and ask for Mrs Holderness.

We are looking for donations and/or affordable providers of:

* Local Bands or tribute acts 🎤🎸
* Flowers or foliage for flower crowns 🌸🌿👑
* Hay bales 🌾
* Bell tents ⛺
* Craft supplies 🎨🧵
* Volunteers on Thursday 9th July to help transform our school into a festival field

We will, of course, have the usual fair, bouncy castles and stalls. Families are welcome to come and join in with the fun for a short time after the school day finishes!!

With You provides free, non-judgmental support and services across Wigan and Leigh for
anyone facing challenges with drugs and/or alcohol.
We understand that everyone’s needs and circumstances are different. We’ll work with you
on your own goals, whether that’s cutting down your drug or alcohol use, stopping
completely or getting some helpful advice.
We understand that sometimes it is might be difficult to get to Coops or Kennedy House for
an assessment or you may not want to complete an assessment over the phone, so we have
created various community assessment clinics to help you to speak to a member of our team
to get advice, information and to complete an assessment for our service to help you start
your recovery journey.

Football sessions for ages 5-12

Please see info below on new football development sessions based at Newbridge learning Community School (Platt Bridge) starting January 2026. These sessions are open to all abilities and designed to improve young peoples football ability, confidence, and overall development in a positive and structured environment.

The first session completely free, allowing participants to experience the session with no commitment. Following the initial session, the cost is £6 per session.

Sessions are delivered by qualified and experienced coaches and are suitable for children aged 5-12 years old.
