Whitworth Swimming Club WSC is a "not for profit organisation." All income is re-invested to hire the pool, pay for equipment, & our volunteer swim teachers' training.

Club night is Tuesday with sessions from 6.45pm to 8.50pm. Email us at [email protected] to join.

Whitworth Swimming Club is now closed for the Easter half term holiday.

Please do not cancel your standing order - you should only cancel if you have informed us that your child / children are leaving club.

We will re-open on Tuesday 14 April 2026.

Just a reminder swimming club restarts on Tuesday 24 February.
If your child has long hair this must be securely tied back with a bobble & check that googles are adjusted to fit correctly before the session.

Widths session is 6.45pm to 7.15pm
Lengths session is 7.20pm to 8.00pm

Times for those that swim widths are unchanged.

Please ensure that your monthly standing order payment is in place, payment is due every month. Standing orders should not be cancelled in school holiday periods as fees are averaged over 12 months.

Dear Parents, Guardians, Teachers and Assistants. I cannot quite believe we have come to the end of 2025 and how fast that year has passed. I would like to personally thank all the parents, guardians and children for their continued support for the Swimming Club. I would like to thank the volunteer teachers and assistants for their continued diligence and teaching kids to swim. I would like to thank Whitworth Leisure Centre for their support, life guards and maintenance and development of the pool. We are now closed for the Christmas and New Year Holidays and will re-open on Tuesday 6th January 2026. Please do not CANCEL your standing orders over the break as you pay a monthly 12-month rolling average. We will be doing a spot check over Christmas on where we are on payments. Times for the sessions on the evening are:
Widths swimmers: 6.45pm to 7.30pm
