BEAVERS will NOT be on this Wednesday 17th June. Apologies as we forgot to let you know last week. The fell runners will be using the Scout Hut as a base that evening. We had a fantastic, 'I'm a Celebrity (nearly) Get Me Our Of Here' themed evening with the Cobs and Scouts. I was rwally proud how all our young people pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and tried things the were not surw about. And every one of them had a taste of our yummy bugs. Well done guys. :-D

Our brilliant Bwavers have been very busy this evening. Learning all about what sort of things would be needed by the astronauts onboard a space craft. They then came up with there own designs for rockets that could be used on a space mission.

What a great night back after our Easter break. The Cubs have completed the last part of their Chef activity badge, then Cubs and Scouts practiced some teamwork together during a game of Silence in Space and then the Scouts finished off tje evening with some mini pioneering projects. 😁

Due to several leaders being away this weekend we are unable to do our usual march for Remembrance Sunday as we would not have a safe adult to child ratio. If anyone can attend, we would really appreciate it if uniform/neckers can be worn by the young people where possible so that there is some visual presence from our geoup. Thank you :-)

Calling All Cubs - Don't forget we are meeting in the car park next to Porky’s Pit Stop on Market Street at 6:15pm this evening for a walk in Healey Dell Nature Reserve. Ensure you are all dressed appropriately (warm & waterproof) and wear suitable footwear (it will be muddy). Parents and other family members are welcome to come along.
DON'T GO TO THE SCOUT HUT !!!!!

Hi All - We hope you have all had an amazing Summer break. Cubs are back tomorrow and we can't wait to see you all. Scouts and Beavers will be back next week and we have lots of exciting stuff planned 😀
