🌿 We’re Looking for a (Pref Female) Trustee! Join Projects Against Plastic 🌿
Voluntary Role | Flexible | Virtual | Few hours a month

Projects Against Plastic (PAP) is looking for a trustee to join our small but powerful environmental charity. Since 2018, we’ve been working to reduce single‑use plastics in the hospitality sector and within BAME communities — creating real impact locally, regionally and nationally.

We may be small, and our funding is limited, but our impact is BIG. Some of our recent work includes:
🌱 Cup & Conversation Roadshow – helping hospitality businesses reduce waste
🌱 Plastic Free Ramadan Campaign – supporting mosques and community groups to cut single‑use plastics
🌱 Tree‑planting projects across Bristol & the South West with youth groups and schools

We’re now looking for a committed woman who can help guide our charity’s next chapter.

💚 About the Role
✔ Fully voluntary (we operate with very limited funding)
✔ Approx. a few hours per month
✔ Three trustee meetings per year (virtual or in‑person)
✔ Flexible involvement around your schedule
✔ Help shape our strategy, support projects, and strengthen our governance

👤 Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from women who:
• Come from a professional background
• Are passionate about the environment
• Understand the challenges of running a small charity
• Want to support hospitality, youth groups, and BAME communities
• Can offer time, insight, and enthusiasm
• Enjoy flexible, collaborative working

Experience in charity governance, community engagement, environmental work, or communications is helpful — but passion matters most.

🌳 250 Trees Planted Today! 🌱
What an incredible day of community action!

A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers who came out to help us plant 250 new trees today. Your energy, teamwork, and dedication made this milestone possible.

We were also honoured to be joined by the High Sheriff of Bristol, whose support made the day even more special.

Together, we’re creating a greener, healthier future for our community — one tree at a time. 💚🌍
