This year marks a very special milestone - 100 years of girls and volunteers standing together.

Across Hertfordshire, our units will be reflecting on what it means to belong to a global movement, celebrating guiding friends across the world and how can continue to contribute to make a positive difference in our communities 💙

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers paraded on Sunday as an act of Remembrance for all those who gave their lives and continue to do so on our front line. A lovely parade of all our young people in their uniforms from 4-18 years old at both the War Memorial in Welwyn Garden City Town Centre and the St Mary Magdalene War Memorial.

2nd WGC Brownies had an amazing evening exploring the wonders of space at Brayford Observatory!

The Brownies were fascinated by the telescopes, learned about planets and stars, and even got to ask questions to real astronomers.

4th WGC Brownies had a fun Bonfire Night this week making edible campfires and playing torch games. They also lit sparklers and watched a firework display thanks to some neighbours! 🎆🎇
