It is with a heavy heart that we announce that, due to personal circumstances and life changes, we have made the very difficult decision to close Cherry Tree Cat Rescue. Our official closing date will be 1 August 2026. This has not been an easy decision, but it is one that we feel is necessary at this time.
We want to reassure our supporters that the kittens currently in our care will continue to receive the very best care and attention. They will remain with us until we can find them safe, loving forever homes.
Any remaining equipment and supplies will be donated to other charities and rescue organisations carrying out similar work ensuring that they can continue helping animals in need. For those who donate to us on a monthly basis, we will be contacting you directly. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you cancel any upcoming recurring payments.
To everyone who has supported us over the years – whether by donating, volunteering, fostering, adopting, sharing our posts, or simply cheering us on – thank you. Your kindness and generosity have enabled us to help so many cats and kittens and we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.
Thank you for being part of our journey and for the difference you have helped us make. Your support has meant more than words can express. While our rescue journey is coming to an end, the lives we have touched and the kittens we have helped will always remain in our hearts. Every cat and kitten we helped may have been only a small part of our lives, but to them, we were their whole world. ❤️🐾
