Meet Kalina, a PhD student working with Dr Stephanie Schüller on a THRT-funded research project investigating Crohn's disease.

"Using human intestinal organoids to study host-microbiota interactions allows us to investigate Crohn's disease in a way that is both scientifically relevant and animal-free.

"I am proud to contribute to research that advances both human health and animal welfare."
