We are a Beaver group age 6-8 years , a Cub group age 8-10.5 & Scout group age 10.5 -14 years
We are based in the village of Abermule , nr Newtown , Mid Wales and meet on a Wednesday night from 6.30pm - 8pm

Autumn Term 2026
We hope you have all had a great summer and we look forward to see you all for the new scouting year.
All groups will start back on Wednesday 9th September.
The parent duty rota will be sorted out soon. Please let us know if there are any dates when you are unavailable.
We will need 3 parents in beavers,2 in cubs and 1 in scouts to maintain safe child to adult ratios .
Remember to bring in evidence for any badges completed during the summer holidays.

Beaver Slip and Slide
What a wonderful evening! Beavers were very enthusiastic on the slip and slide where they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The sausages from The Prized Pig were much appreciated by us all.
Congratulations to Noah who was awarded Best Beaver for this term.
A great ending to the summer term.

Cubs and Scouts had a fun packed evening at the centre to finish the term. Everyone enjoyed the activities and the hotdogs.

For tonight’s activity you will need full length trousers and trainers / shoes NOT crocs or sandals. You can change into shorts after the activity.

Last meeting of the term tomorrow for all groups. There are still some outstanding subscriptions which need to be paid.
All groups will be outside so please use suntan lotion, wear a hat and bring a drink.
Beavers remember to bring a towel and change of clothes.
Beavers start at the earlier time of 6:15 and finish at 7:45p.m.
Car Boot
Mr Owen has tallied up and after expenses we made £317 for group funds.

A great big thank you to all the leaders, parents and grandparents who helped out at the car boot sale yesterday. Also thanks to everyone who donated cakes, they were lovely.
We really appreciate all the support.
We will let you know the total raised when everything is sorted.

Car Boot 4th July
A reminder that we have the car boot tomorrow to raise funds for our group. Any help and cake donations would be greatly appreciated.
