There is nothing we love more at the Street and Walton Men’s Shed than seeing a finished project head out the door to a good home! 🔨🏠

We’ve just dropped off this handcrafted Buddy Bench to the lovely lot at Hindhayes Infants. From the rustic log frame to the custom backrest designed by one of the pupils, every bit of it was made with care by our members.

We hope it helps spark plenty of new friendships on the playground. It’s already passed the 'sit test' (as you can see!), so it's officially ready for action! 🪵✨

Why we do what we do. ❤️

We recently had the pleasure of refurbishing this beautiful dining table, and receiving this message from the owner truly touched us all. Knowing that the tools used to finish this piece came from her late father’s workshop makes this project incredibly special.

A huge thank you for the kind words and for trusting us with such a treasured family heirloom. It was an honor to bring it back to life. Next up: the chairs! 🪑✨

Phew! We're finally catching our breath after a whirlwind week at the Shed! 🛠️🌬️

It was non-stop action from start to finish. We were thrilled to see Beard Construction stop by to collect nine of the large swift boxes our team has been hard at work on. It's great to know these will soon be providing some much-needed homes for the birds!

But the excitement didn't stop there... we also had a film crew from ITV in the building! They were here recording a segment with our very own John Harris about his monkeys. 🐒🎥

Keep your eyes peeled for when it hits the screen!

In case you missed it, our very own John Harris was featured on Points West tonight! It was such a proud moment for the Street and Walton Men’s Shed to see his incredible acrobatic monkeys and his years of hard work shared with the whole region.

Points West paid us a visit at Street and Walton Men’s Shed today! They came to celebrate one of our oldest members and the stunning acrobatic monkey toys he has been hand-crafting.
