Join us at Taunton Hospice on Wednesday 22 April, 11am–2pm, where we'll be alongside other fantastic local organisations championing sustainability and positive change.
Come and say hello, enjoy some delicious cake and refreshments, and connect with a community that cares about protecting our planet.
Entry is free – everyone's welcome!

Earth day has been held on 22nd April since 1970 all across the globe, it will be a fun day, learning different things that I can do to make a difference, I never say no to a look around a garden or to tea & cake.. :)

Today we will be at Street repair cafe, in the Street Quaker Meeting house, I will help mend Silver & other bits of jewellery.

We will also have the refill station there where refills of laundry liquid, softener, toilet cleaner, surface cleaner & washing up liquid can be put into any bottle you have providing we know the size. Plus Faith in Nature body wash, shampoo & conditioner.
For those that have the space we can still supply the 20L direct to you.

There is also lovely tea & cake. so why not come just for a nosy, see what a repair cafe is all about. 💚😀

During studies I came across C-ROADS, I thought it may interest some, it is a computer simulation regarding climate change, you can change the inputs and see predictions for temperature change, greenhouse gas emissions, ice melt and all sorts of other really interesting data. 💚

Hello all, It has been a while since I have posted as I have been recharging & working out how to go forward, during this time it seems someone has taken over Eco Friendly Shop on Instagram, people have been buying items & not having them delivered.

I haven't seen any posts on Instagram, have you?
Obviously I know I am posting this on Facebook, but have kicked off my business Instagram. I don't know how this can be done if I am honest.

Any help & advice would be greatly recieved as people would like their money back.

I found this an interesting read.
How are you getting on with reducing plastic? Is it easy in your area?
What has been your favourite & easiest swap?
Which do you consider to be the most difficult.

For me it is the junk food, I don't consume much but I do still consume the odd produced item & vegan sausages. I find that I do really well for a long time then will have a period in life which is hectic for several reasons & my plastic increases, which I then try & rectify again., however it never creeps back up to the level that it was, I try & feel positive about this when I am looking at what I see as my fails.

I hope whatever your change is you are pleased with what you have done, as every little thing we do makes a difference. 💚🌏

Sourcing fruit and veg without wrapping was hard enough, but finding an eco-friendly way to brush my teeth was its own world of pain. And as for my 6pm crisps fix – forget it

Today is our last market of the year, we can be found in the United reform church in Street, lots of lovely gift ideas here, home baked goods, jams & chutneys as well as fresh produce, there is also a cafe so you can have a hot drink & a slice of cake. 💚☺🍰🧁☕🫖
