is an Oxfordshire speciality coffee company, roasting in own . After more than 20 years working and learning speciality coffee in London. I have returned to my hometown of Wallingford to bring up my family and start a new adventure in coffee. Crafted from the vintage Rice horsebox trailer I used as a child, Horsebox Coffee Co.’s goal is to bring freshly roasted speciality coffee into the hearts and homes of Oxfordshire and beyond in a fun and affordable way. Find us outside the museum of natural history Oxford and at local festivals and events. Follow us behind the scenes .

Welcome students new and old, are you looking to explore your new home? ☀️

Let us sort your itinerary…

🌿 10am, Start at the Botanic Garden with free entry to Oxford University Students. Admire the blooms and join us by the river for delicious coffee and fruit cake.

🛶 12pm, Go punting from Magdalen Bridge. See Oxford from the water and learn a new skill… just don’t fall in! 😂

🥪 1.30pm, head to the Covered Market for brilliant independent food spots, or climb the University Church tower for incredible 360° views and lunch at Gatineau overlooking the Radcliffe Camera.

☕ 2.30pm, coffee and treats on the lawn at Museum of Natural History, University of Oxford. Say hello to the dinosaurs 🦖 and explore the wonders of natural history, with the Pitt Rivers Museum just behind.

🌅 5pm, wander through University Parks and into Jericho for a drink. Still going? Head to Port Meadow for golden hour, then finish with a pint or glass of w**e at a country pub in Wolvercote.

Oxford has so much to offer, this is just scratching the surface of the city we’re proud to call home. 💙

We’ve got something rather delicious joining the counter at the Horsebox on the lawn Museum of Natural History, University of Oxford 🦤

Delicious Gatineau muffins.
Made using the same base as their gorgeous loaf cakes, so you get that same wonderfully moist texture and proper homemade flavour , just in a much more grab-and-go shape 😁

Perfect washed down with a fresh filter brew. A lovely treat before, or after exploring the museum or something to takeaway with you.

International Coffee Day ☕
‘COFFEE IS PART OF THE SOLUTION’

This year’s theme feels particularly close to home 💙

We’ve always believed that coffee can be a force for good.

A way to support farming communities and reward incredible producers.
A reason to think more carefully about our impact on the planet.
A vehicle for creating jobs, sharing skills and bringing people together.
And, at the end of that enormous journey, something delicious that gives us a reason to stop, talk and connect.

We certainly don’t have all the answers. But from building long-term relationships with our producer partners and paying premiums for high grade coffee, to becoming a certified B Corp and continually working to reduce our environmental impact, we’re committed to doing our little bit. 💚

Because millions of cups of coffee are drunk every single day, and every one of those cups represents an opportunity to make better choices ❤️
