I have returned to my hometown of Wallingford to bring up my family and start a new adventure in coffee. Crafted from the vintage Rice horsebox trailer I used as a child, Horsebox Coffee Co.’s goal is to bring freshly roasted speciality coffee

into the hearts and homes of Oxfordshire and beyond in a fun and affordable way. Find us outside the museum of natural history Oxford and at local festivals and events. Follow us behind the scenes .

We’re now serving up Pip Organic Rainbow iced lollies, packed with organic fruit, a little cheeky veg and absolutely no added sugar. 🌱🍓

It’s time to introduce our latest filter coffee, ‘Beloya’ a beautiful washed Ethiopian from the renowned Kochere region. 🇪🇹☕

Roasted a little lighter than usual to accentuate its vibrant citrus acidity, delicate body and wonderfully refreshing finish.

When we cupped this coffee, we found beautiful notes of blackberry alongside its bright citrus character, making it the perfect brew for summer. ☀️

As always, every coffee has a story. Head over to Dark Horse Roastery to discover more about the producers and the journey from farm to cup. 🌍

🍦 Happy National Ice Cream Day! 🍦

Today we’re celebrating our two brilliant local ice cream suppliers 🎉🎉

First up is the wonderfully creative G&D's Oxford made right here in Oxford. Incredible flavours from Strawberry Lemonade and Cookie Dough to our very own Dark Horse Espresso (and even Marmite!), there’s always something fun to discover. You’ll find them at University of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum. 🪴☀️

Then there’s the fantastic Chiltern Ice Cream Company, crafted in the Chilterns using local Guernsey milk from Lacey's Family Farm. From timeless classics to refreshing fruit sorbets, you can enjoy them at Museum of Natural History, University of Oxford and Harcourt Arboretum. 🦤🌳🌲

Brewed fresh in-house each day using joesteaco English Breakfast tea, Earl Grey and fresh mint, then steeped with orange and lemon for a beautifully refreshing summer drink 🍊🍋

A mocha, the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness, either hot or iced depending on the weather ☕️🍫☀️🌧️❄️

Kyla’s favourite thing about working in the Horsebox is being outdoors surrounded by nature, especially at the Botanical Gardens and Harcourt Arboretum. 🌳🌸

In her spare time...
Kyla helps run a Scout unit, planning weekly evenings, organising camps away and helping create adventures for the next generation 🧭🔥⛺❤️

Good morning & Happy May Day! 🌺

That’s right, we’ve got a couple of new delicious treats on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at the horsebox 😋

Both are from the brilliant .ltd ✨

Pain Suisse au chocolat, made with beautifully flaky pastry, filled with a smooth vanilla crème pâtissière and finished with a sprinkling of 50% dark chocolate chips. Rich and indulgent.

Cinnamon brioche. Soft buttery brioche dough, filled generously with a smooth cinnamon crème pâtissière. Finished with a generous drizzle of Ceylon cinnamon syrup, properly sticky, soft and comforting.
