We had GOSSIP in last night which was a brilliant success. It is lovely to see each month busier than the last.

Tonight the South Stoke Amenities Charity are doing their 400 Club draw at 19:00 - feel free to come down and join in on the activities.

Perch & Pike opens this Friday… just 2 more sleeps. Here’s an update from Richard and his team.

Hello all,

Work is well underway and the pub is really starting to take shape! 😊

We are on schedule to open this Friday at 5pm, and we can’t wait to welcome you in. As we still have a few kitchen installations to complete, and we didn’t want to delay welcoming you back through the doors any longer, this Friday and Saturday we will be open for drinks only.

Ongoing works mean we will be starting out with a limited food offering for the first few weeks or so, however we look forward to introducing our full menu to you all in the very near future.

The good news:
On Sunday from 12pm to 4:30pm, we’ll be serving a traditional roast lunch with all the trimmings, perfect for a first taste of what’s to come!

We also held our first staff meeting yesterday, and it was fantastic to meet some of the new members of the P&P team.

We’re nearly there…

this great news from brakspears… “Hi, just to let you know (as promised), that we’ve now placed the P&P under offer. As the new business owner needs to give a months notice on his job, he won’t be taking over until 22/09. There will be an extended closure period due to redecoration of the trading space, so we will look to relaunch mid-October. Hope this helps, cheers, Gerard”
