Wallingford WI enjoyed their regular chat, coffee and cake in a very cool St. Mary's this morning. This evening was somewhat warmer in the Corn Exchange Wallingford as part of a full house watching the brilliant Alter Eagles.

Light summer evenings mean that our book group can enjoy meeting outside. June's book was Hope Street by Mike Gayle, which we all enjoyed. There was a lot of discussion about the characters, issues of friendship, support, bullying, and the importance of community amongst many other things.

Wallingford WI had an extremely busy afternoon serving tea and cake at one of the Walled Gardens of Wallingford. A beautiful setting, and we even had a visit from Wallingford Morris to entertain us.
