⚠️ ATTENTION SHOPPERS ⚠️

Unfortunately, at around 3pm yesterday afternoon, we discovered a leak in our back room.

As a result, this area will be closed to staff, volunteers, and the public until further checks have been carried out to ensure it is safe to use.

Unfortunately, this also means we are unable to accept donations at this time, as we do not currently have access to our back office for storing and sorting items.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve the issue.

We will provide an update as soon as we are able to reopen the area and resume accepting donations.

Thank you for your continued support.

We're proud to announce that Beat4Autism is now an official Safe Place with Healthy Cornwall! 💙💛

It was a pleasure to welcome Alfie and Lorna from the CHAMPs Team to Torpoint, where they met with Lizeta to officially welcome Beat4Autism as the newest member of the Safe Places Scheme.

Being a Safe Place means we're committed to providing a welcoming, supportive environment where people can feel safe, valued, and listened to.

We're looking forward to working alongside Healthy Cornwall and the CHAMPs Team to help make our communities more inclusive, understanding, and supportive for everyone.

Together, we're making a difference.

We need your help. And only a week for you to do it 😬🙏

We're currently looking into SEND provision across the Torpoint & Rame Peninsula, and we need your help to build a clear picture of what's really happening for local families.

We're looking for real-life case studies. Any information you share will be treated strictly confidentially, used anonymously, and only to help provide facts and evidence.

If you're a parent or carer of a child with SEND (under 16), we'd be grateful if you could answer the following questions:

1. Is your child currently travelling outside of the Torpoint & Rame Peninsula for school, or are they being home educated due to a lack of suitable local SEND provision?

2. If they are travelling, how far do they travel? Do you receive any funding or support towards transport costs?

3. What challenges or barriers have you faced (or are still facing) in securing appropriate SEND provision?

4. Is there anything else you'd like to share? For example:• Timescales involved• Support you needed• Appeals or assessments• Any hoops you've had to jump through along the way

Please email your responses in confidence to [email protected] with the subject line "Provisions", by Sunday 21st June 2026.

Your experiences could help highlight the reality facing families in our area and support future discussions around improving local SEND provision.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to help, and apologies for the short notice. Every response really does make a difference.

🌺 Volunteer Week Celebration BBQ 🌺

Yesterday, in celebration of Volunteer Week, Beat4Autism hosted a Hawaiian-themed BBQ for the amazing volunteers who give their time, energy and support in so many different ways.

We were lucky that the weather held up for us, and everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon filled with good food, great company, plenty of laughs and a chance to say thank you to the people who help make our community what it is.

From supporting our shop and events, to helping behind the scenes, fundraising, sharing ideas and offering a helping hand whenever it's needed, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

A huge thank you to every single volunteer.

Your kindness, dedication and generosity make a real difference to so many people, and we are incredibly grateful for all that you do.

💙 Thank you for being part of the Beat4Autism family. 💙
