Full house today for lunch at Lighthouse. It’s more than the food, it’s about connecting with each other, a place where you don’t have to strive to be someone else but to thrive in being YOU. It brings such joy to me to hear all the conversations going on and the feedback we are getting is incredible, so thank you one and all. All this week I have read posts about how it would be so good to have a hwb where everyone can meet together, knitting our community back together, well let me tell you we have been doing this since Covid, one stitch at a time making a beautiful tapestry of life, people of all ages, all genders, whether rich or poor. So please don’t be negative about the little we have in Tonyrefail because what we do have is priceless and we will continue to hear the public and do whatever we can to meet the needs of our people.

As from 22nd October due to increase in customers we will be serving Breakfasts and Lunches from 10-2 on Fridays, as well as Breakfasts on Wed. Hope you’ll join us and also browse our amazing quality clothing while you wait.

Great news. This means that if anyone needs assistance call in and ask for Dawn or give me a call or DM and I can refer you for an appointment.

The Lighthouse Project is now an approved referrer to the Department for Work and Pension Visiting Service. If you have any benefit enquiries then please ask about a referral to the DWP visiting team. The DWP visiting team can support with queries and benefit applications for benefits such as PIP and Attendance Allowance.
