Santa's been to Penygraig Park.🎅🏻🎉

Thank you to everyone who gave up their December evening to vote for the future of Penygraig. There were some really fantastic causes pitching for some funding tonight and we are pleased to announce we were one of the lucky ones. Thanks to Trivallis we have been able to start the journey on some well needed maintenance of the park paddling pool. We are so grateful to be able to start our journey in trying to get Penygraig Pool back open. Whilst the amount we have been awarded is fantastic and will make a great start there will still be a lot more fundraising needed. So there is still so much to do. We need your help and support. If you care about Penygraig please join us in early January to begin this exciting journey (further details to follow).Special thanks to Viki Morgan for the nomination. We will always be grateful to you. ❤️

Free entry but you must have a torch or a lantern to gain entry

If you want to see Penygraig park thriving again with your children / grandchildren having a safe space to enjoy the outdoors like we once did then please try and attend the meeting today!

We will try and push for another meeting with a more suitable time for those who work but for now, it’s community voices we need and by numbers we can’t do this alone.

After engaging with members of our local community, we’ve decided to launch this page as the first step toward restoring our neighborhood park pool. With the rising cost of living, many families are finding it increasingly difficult to access affordable summer activities. While other nearby pools continue to thrive, ours has unfortunately fallen into disrepair.

We believe it’s time to come together as a community to revitalize this space and create a safe, vibrant environment where our children can play, grow, and make the same cherished memories many of us enjoyed in our own childhoods.

we need you, community members, family members - get involved as without you, our voice will not be heard! It’s time to stand up and challenge those who tell us “No it can’t be done” and make a change!! Without us and you, the Park won’t be used to its full potential!! Take a trip down memory lane and remember the good times….lets bring them back to life!!
