🏉 SUMMER SKILLS SESSIONS 🔥

In partnership with the Hillfoots Vixens we’re excited to launch our FREE Summer Skills Sessions, open to everyone in the rugby community! Whether you’re a HRFC player or completely new to the club, all ages, abilities, and genders are welcome! 🔥

To kick things off, our first session tomorrow will be led by Men’s Head Coach Eric Urquhart, an ex-District and National Skills Coach with decades of experience in the game. 🤩

This session will focus on developing your ball handling skills, helping players build confidence, improve technique, and have fun in a welcoming environment. 🙌🏽

✅ Open to all clubs and players
✅ All ages and genders welcome
✅ Free of charge

MXV Head Coach Eric is hosting open training sessions on Thursday evenings down at the HRFC pitches for both men and women to join in with. These can be skill focussed to help improve on certain elements of your game before preseason kicks off, which will be here before we know it… 🏃🏼🏃🏼‍♀️

🐏 HRFC 2026/27 SEASON 🏉

There’s plenty love (rugby tackles) to go around so don’t be sad you’re missing out like Keith here, make sure to get in touch and join our growing Men’s team as we head into our next season! 👀

Finishing off strong in 3rd place this past 2025/26 season in the Caledonia Region Division 1 was a hard fought for position and we are so proud of the team for their achievements. We aim to keep this momentum going and get as many involved as possible.

With more to offer than just club and competitive rugby we have lots of club and community social events all year round so get in touch to not miss out. 🔥

Preseason dates are tbc but as soon as we know, you’ll know! 💪🏻

☀️🏉 TOUCH TOURNAMENT TIME 🔥🪩

The big day is here for our annual touch tournament!!! 💃🏻

A heart felt thank you for everyone who has made this day possible in the background as well as our sponsor Allanwater Homes, vendors, HRFC bar as well as europamusicstirling for keeping us entertained all day and night! 🔥

We are raising money for Scots Recovery From Childhood Abuse again this year so please make sure to come down and get involved today even if it’s to take the opportunity to try out our local vendors, have a drink and a laugh with us as we raise money for such a well deserving charity. ❤️

Key points for the big day ahead:
- registration of teams starts at 12pm
- first match ties at 1pm
- HRFC Bar, Cocina Mexicana, The Wild Sauna Company, Meg’s Cakes and Europa Music will all be on site to keep you busy in between games or while watching from the sidelines.

Make sure to bring cash for the bar, a towel for the sauna and your best themed outfits for the rugby!!! ✨

Stick around all day and night to have the best time keeping the party going into the Shorts n Shades disco in the HRFC Clubhouse from 7pm till late (18+) 🪩

The countdown is on for our annual touch tournament this Saturday 16th May!!!🔥

We have some brilliant local businesses coming down to join Allanwater in their support of our wee county tournament and we appreciate you all! 🫶🏼

Next up on our vendor announcements is The Wild Sauna Co, a local business close to our hearts with Jenny’s continued support of the club always meaning the world. ✨

Jenny will be down on site with one of the Sauna’s all day offering sessions for a donation to the charity so make sure to not miss out on this amazing opportunity! 🙌🏻 (NOTE: bring a towel please)

We are raising money for Scots Recovery From Childhood Abuse again this year so please get your teams assembled and give us a shout to register and donate to these deserving causes. ❤️

The rules are simple:
🏉 10 per team, with at least 1 person of the opposite s*x. Games of 6 a side!!!
💰 Only £15 per person donation required which gets you into the tournament as well as admission into the legendary Shorts ‘n’ Shades disco at night!
🕶️ Come equipped with Shorts ‘n’ Shades and your best dance moves for the party in the clubhouse in the evening! 🩳

Bonuses:
🦄 Themed outfits (and names) per team, look funky fresh to stand out from the crowds!
🏖️ Bring summer ready equipment for the day, we’re keeping our fingers crossed the sun comes out to play too!
