Be honest… have you ever thought about investing but had absolutely no idea where to start?

Maybe you’ve thought:

“Is £50 or £100 even enough?”

“What am I actually supposed to buy?”

“Can I lose all my money?”

“Which app do I use?”

“What’s a share anyway?”

If that’s you, you’re exactly the sort of person I want Future Investors Club to be for.

You don’t need to know anything about investing.

You don’t need thousands of pounds.

And you definitely don’t need to pretend you understand all the jargon!

The whole reason I started FIC was to create somewhere people can ask the questions they might feel silly asking elsewhere.

So here’s today’s question:

If you were thinking about investing for the first time, what’s the ONE thing you’d want someone to explain to you?

There are genuinely no stupid questions.

Have you ever thought about this? Please comment below.

Imagine two friends.

One starts investing £100 a month at 20.

The other waits until they’re 30.

Who do you think has invested more money by retirement?

Don’t Google it.!
Don’t be shy to comment.

Do you think schools should teach investing?

We spend years learning maths, English and science…

But very little time learning about:

Saving

Investing

Credit

Loans

ISAs

Pensions

Do you think investing and personal finance should be taught in schools?

I came across this company recently and thought it was fascinating…

It’s called Vertical Aerospace, a UK company developing electric flying taxis.

The idea sounds like something from a sci-fi film, but they’re aiming to have aircraft certified for commercial use and are building manufacturing capability here in the UK.

I’m not saying this is a good investment, and this definitely isn’t financial advice.

But it did make me stop and think…

As investors, should we be looking for companies that are trying to shape the future before everyone else notices them?

Or is it better to wait until the business is proven and profitable?

I’d love to hear what everyone thinks.

Is this the future… or just hype?

One thing I want Future Investors Club to become…

I don’t want this to be another page that simply posts:

“Apple is up 2%.”

There are already thousands of pages doing that.

What I’d really love to build is a community where people stop scrolling because of the conversations.

A place where people say:

💬 “That’s a really good question.”

💬 “I’ve never thought about it like that.”

💬 “I’m actually learning something from these discussions.”

Whether you’ve been investing for 20 years or you’re simply curious about getting started, I want everyone to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and learning together.

That’s the vision.

Thanks to everyone who’s joined us so far. Please share these post……. Don’t be afraid to let people know that you invest your money. This is only the beginning. 📈

So let me ask you this…

What’s one investing question you’ve always wanted to ask but never have?

17/07/2026

When you hear the word investing, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?

* Making money?
* Risk?
* The stock market?
* Retirement?
* Something else?

There are no right or wrong answers.

I’m genuinely interested to hear what people think.

Where do I hope Future Investors Club goes?

My goal isn’t to tell people what shares to buy.

My goal is to build the community I wish existed when I started investing back in 2014.

A place where people can:

✅ Learn

✅ Ask questions

✅ Share ideas

✅ Meet like-minded people

✅ Improve their understanding of investing

If enough people are interested, I’d love to organise the first Future Investors Club meetup in Swindon but all depends on numbers.

Please share with anyone you know that maybe interested.

🚀 Double figures!

Future Investors Club Swindon has now reached 11 followers. (Welcome Chris)

Thank you to everyone who has supported the page so far.

The vision is simple:

📈 Learn together

📈 Share ideas

📈 Build knowledge

📈 Support one another

Would be great if you would introduce yourself and on a scale from 1-10. 1 being “I have no idea what this is about” and 10 being “I’m an active investor.” Where are you??

Why I Started Future Investors Club Swindon

Back in 2014, I watched a BBC programme called Traders: Millions by the Minute.

One episode followed ordinary people trading from home.

I was hooked.

Since that day, I haven’t stopped learning about investing and trading.

What surprised me most wasn’t how difficult investing was. It was how lonely it was.

I had no idea where to start.

There was no roadmap.

No community.

No one around me who understood what I was trying to learn.

Whenever I spoke to people about investing, the response was often the same:

“Why would you do that?”

“Isn’t that gambling?”

“You’ll lose all your money.”

Very quickly, I realised I was largely on my own.

Fast forward to today, and things have changed massively.

Technology has made investing more accessible than ever before. Opening an account, buying shares and investing regularly is far easier than it was when I started.

But one thing hasn’t changed.

Many people still want to invest but simply don’t know where to begin.

That’s why I’ve decided to start Future Investors Club Swindon.

My vision is simple:

To build a supportive community of people who can learn together, share ideas, ask questions, support each other and help one another achieve their own financial goals.

No gurus.

No sales pitches.

Just ordinary people helping each other become better investors.

If enough people follow the page and engage with the community, I’d love to organise regular local meetups in Swindon where members can meet in person, share ideas, learn from each other and build genuine connections.

So please share and let people you know about FIC Swindon
