Swanage Summer Pool League (SSPL) is a league starting 4th June and ending in September. YOUR CHANCE TO REPRESENT

Teams of 4 players minimum
SSPL matches consist of:
8 Singles frames
2 Scotch Doubles frames
LEAGUE FORMAT:
- 10 frames per league night
- 8 Singles
- 2 Scotch Doubles
- Players must play in scorecard order during frames, including in Scotch Doubles matches
- If a
Team Knockout match ends in a draw, then the winner of the match will be decided in a single frame shootout with the team captain's choosing a player from their team (including themselves) to play
- Maximum of two teams per pool table
- Points based on frames won firstly
- If level on points after frames won, then it’s based on matches won throughout the season
- If level on points after frames won and matches won throughout the season, then it's based on matches drawn throughout the season
- 8:15pm start to all matches (30 minute leeway)
- Open to 16 teams maximum. HOME TEAMS:
- Keep all pool tables to a decent standard (Level, brushed, etc.).
- To rack all frames in the match.
- To provide food for the teams on league nights.
- Football card to be done on league nights with the profits going towards the cost of the food (Optional). ENTRY COSTS:
- £20 per team
PLAYING RULES:
- World Rules without time clock (Unless agreed upon both team captains to play with 60 second shot clock)
(Copy of world rules will be sent to venues).
- Home team breaks first, then alternative breaking throughout the match
- No Communication allowed at any time between team members during singles matches.
- Communication during Scotch games (Scotch Doubles) allowed at any time but only by playing participants.
- Team captain must give notification that your team is unavailable to play a match to the opposition team captain at least 8 hours before a match is played. A Rearrangement of the match will be decided between team captains.

SSPL Shield (Top of the league at the end of the season)
SSPL Cup (Top 4 of Division qualify) (Played on finals night)
SSPL Team Knockout Cup (Knockout tournament)
