It’s this evening.

Hope to see you, very much looking forward to meeting you.

Swanage NewBees is a social group for those who are new or newish to Swanage.
It is an opportunity to meet up with others, have a chat and get to know some new friends.
We meet up every 4-6 weeks usually at The Showbar upstairs at The Mowlem 6-8pm. Dates are published here a couple of weeks before.
That’s it! No joining fee. No events. No demands. Just a relaxed evening for folk to get together.

Next NewBees meet up is this coming week

Wednesday 23rd September
6-8pm
The Showbar upstairs at The Mowlem

Hope to see you there.

Swanage Christmas Market: Volunteers Needed

The Swanage Christmas Market, organised for many years by Swanage & Purbeck Rotary Club, is one of the town’s much-loved festive events. The Rotary Club is keen for the market to go ahead again this year, but we urgently need a few extra volunteers to help make it possible.

We are looking for support with administration from now until the event. This will include checking and responding to emails, helping with general organisation, and assisting with arrangements on the day.

We would also welcome help from someone with health and safety experience. This support will mainly be needed closer to the event and on the day itself.

Additional help is needed the day before the market to load a van with equipment from our store. Volunteers are also needed on the morning of the market to help set up, and again in the evening to dismantle the event and return items to storage.

If you may be able to get involved, please join us on Thursday 10th September 7:30pm, at the Swanbrook Bar & Restaurant, formerly the Conservative Club, to find out more.
