We love to dance because it’s fun, community building but also amazing for the mind!

There have been so many studies for how dancing aids cognitive development. It’s pretty amazing that something so joyous could also help prevent dementia!

Do you dance? If so what benefits do you experience from it?

Dance is good for your body and your brain. 🧠

Every move challenges your mind in several ways at once, so autopilot is firmly off. And it’s great fun.

So swap your pull-ups for boogies, for one night only. Have a laugh and learn something new. 🕺

Join us on Friday 6 November at 6.30pm. Where TAG will be swapping burpees for boogieing as they host a disco fundraiser, led by a brilliant choreographer who helped set the world record for the biggest choreographed disco dance at Camp Bestival! 🕺✨

A huge thank you and congratulations to Claire! 🏃‍♀️🎉

On Sunday 4th October, Claire ran the Studland Stampede, smashing her target and raising over £1,800 for Diverse City!

An enormous congratulations to Claire, and a big thank you to Vicki Angel, who also ran and was Claire’s training buddy throughout.

And a huge thank you to everyone who donated!

For 20 years, Diverse City has been working to make the arts fairer, more representative and more accessible: creating performance, supporting artists and making space for more people to create, participate and lead.
