Sutton Housing Partnership SHP manages council housing in Sutton. Residents can use our page to contact us to request services like reporting a repair.

Sutton Housing Partnership was set up in 2006 to manage council housing stock on behalf of Sutton Council. We provide day to day housing management services to around 6,000 tenants and 1,500 leaseholders.

The London Fire Brigade reports that on average there is a fire from a lithium-ion battery in an e-bike or e-scooter every two days in London.

Many of these fires happen in homes while batteries are charging - when lithium-ion batteries fail they can ignite quickly and produce intense fires that spread rapidly.

They can also produce toxic smoke.

This is why e-bikes and e-scooters are not allowed in your home or any part of the building. This is government legislation, due to the fire risk posed by their lithium batteries.

Please be on the alert for bogus contractors posing as SHP or Sutton Council staff wanting to enter your home.

Our staff always carry ID badges so please check this before allowing anyone into your home.

If you do not have an arranged appointment please refuse access to your home.

If you're not sure call us on 020 8915 2000 to confirm that the visit is genuine. Our call centre staff can confirm appointments even if our staff are at your door and will always be able to help you.
