Sutton Amnesty International Group

Sutton Amnesty International Group We are everyday people from Sutton in Surrey standing up for human rights around the world. We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month.

Why not join our Sutton group, and become a voice for the silenced and the oppressed? You may think to yourself, what can one person do against these terrible and ongoing abuses of human rights all over the world. Well, the answer seems to be quite a lot. With a small amount of time, a lot of stamps, emails and persistence, you can change someone’s life. You can give them back their freedom! Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of every month.

Join Amnesty International UK’s bloc at the Together Alliance March on 28 March 2026 at 12pm (Zone G, position 14) and stand with others committed to defending human rights and showing solidarity with marginalised communities.

The UK is entering a period of political uncertainty, resulting in rising far-right hostility and violence towards migrants and racialised communities, shrinking civic space and deepening political polarisation.

That’s why organisations, communities and individuals are mobilising in London on 28 March 2026 as part of the Together Alliance - a coalition of organisations representing over 7 million people - to show that human rights matter and we will collectively resist hate, division and authoritarianism.

This is a call to everyone who cares about justice, equality and human rights.
