Would you like to become a Community Guardian and make a difference in the area where you live?

We are working with London Borough of Sutton and The Paul Alan Project to provide practical training on how we can protect young people and vulnerable adults in our community.

The training will empower you to recognise risks and play an important role in creating safe spaces across the borough.

Please contact us if you would like more information or scan the QR code in the poster below to book on.

Next training dates is 8th June at The Quad.

"You do not have to cope alone. 💜

Experiencing domestic abuse can affect every part of your life from your confidence, self-esteem and daily wellbeing to your ability to look ahead to the future. At Sutton Women’s Centre, we offer a free counselling service for local women who have experienced domestic abuse.

Our counselling service provides:
✨ A minimum of 16 free counselling sessions
✨ A safe, supportive and confidential space
✨ A free crèche if childcare is needed

Counselling can help survivors to better understand themselves, process what has happened, and begin rebuilding confidence and hope for the future.

If you would like to find out more or access support, please get in touch on 020 8661 1991 or email [email protected]

Pop into Oru and see this year's Inspirational Women Photographic Exhibition.

It's wonderful to celebrate amazing women in our borough who do so much for our community.

Thank you to Yani at Nova Photo Atelier for her continued support each year.

Today we held a creative session for our new Lived Experience Forum. Using magazines, words and images, we individually created a collage to explore what this group means to us and to help shape our name, mission and future plans.

We talked about planning a poster for the back of toilet doors - a safe, private place where survivor voices can reach others who may need support.

This group is about turning lived experience into strength, connection and change.

We’d love your help choosing a name for the group. If you have ideas that reflect hope, voice or change, please share them in the comments below.

Together we can inspire real change 💜
