Our Support Services team provides free information, emotional support, practical advice and guidance by phone and email. Our Outreach Workers can also visit people at home. We support and fund research related initiatives.

A huge moment today as Scotland announce that through the SMA screening programme they have found their first positive case. This comes after SMA UK, alongside Scottish families and key partners called on Holyrood to introduce screening. With Scotland starting screening earlier this year in March, the first in the UK to do so. It further highlights that NBS gives a child best opportunity to be diagnosed early and start treatment before any symptoms appear. 📣
