❗️Reminder of event tomorrow❗️

We’re excited to be opening the salon on 27th May for our Open Salon Day 🩵

This day is all about bringing people together, offering a range of treatments, and most importantly, supporting a cause close to our hearts , the Katie Trust.

You can get involved in a couple of ways:
Treat yourself to one of our salon services on the day, or purchase a raffle ticket at £1 or 6 for £5. Every bit of support goes directly towards helping the charity.

We also have an incredible raffle prizes worth over £500 🎁, with some brilliant goodies up for grabs.

Whether you’re coming in for a treatment, a ticket, or just to show your support, we’d love to see you there!

Fountain Street will be hosting a CPR & AED awareness session at the Centre on Tuesday 9th June from 11am-1pm. This course is specifically being organised for local residents and we are hoping that at least one or two persons from each street in the Fountain Street catchment area will attend.

The streets are Drumrallagh Estate, Patrician Villas, Fountain Park, Fountain Terrace, Casement Place, Innisfree Gardens, Fountain Street, St John's Place, Marian Park, Townsend Street, and Townsend Terrace.

The training will be provided by Bonny Allen (Community Resuscitation Education Officer).

If interested please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Marie Breslin to book a place, if there isn't enough uptake from local residents we will extend this out to the wider community.

This is not an accredited course, however we will be hosting several accredited courses in the not too distant future which will be open to the wider community.

New mural installed this morning at the Community Centre in Fountain Street depicting many aspects of the old Head of the Town, and including our local church, the convent, the Grotto and our local Primary School.

This project is part of the Looking Back - Moving Forward group based at Fountain Street.

This was kindly funded via Good Relations funding Derry City & Strabane District Council

Thanks to the team at GMG LOGOS who designed and installed the mural.

Hopefully the mural will rekindle memories.
