We give all Sir Knights, families and friends a very warm invitation to join with us for worship at our annual district church service which is coming up in less than a month now. This year it will be hosted by Artigarvan R.B.P. 91.

𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏𝟏 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐄 𝟏𝟗𝟔𝟓
𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 - 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐋.𝐎.𝐋. 𝟐𝟑𝟖

Here we have a old photograph from June 1965 of Miss C. Brown unfurling a new banner for the recently formed Donemana Junior L.O.L. No. 238 at a "Mini-Twelfth" which was held in the village. Miss Brown was a daughter of Rev John Brown from Londonderry who took part that evening, thought to have been possibly connected with Magee University College.

A religious service was conducted by Rev. John Brown M.A., Londonderry, assisted by Rev C. R. J. Brown, Donemana and Rev F. M. Hay, Leckpatrick. Praise was led by Barron Accordion Band.

Miss Linda Lynch presented scissors to Miss Brown, daughter of Rev John Brown, who performed the unfurling and she received a presentation from Miss C. Mawhinney. The banner was dedicated by Rev Hay.

While very sadly Donemana Junior L.O.L. No. 238 is now dormant, we have been greatly encouraged and thrilled to see the revival of Junior Orangeism in Strabane District once again in recent times, with Strabane District Junior L.O.L. 249.
