Due to the inclement weather conditions and to avoid unnecessary risk to our participants we have decided to cancel this mornings walk. After a weekend of high winds the route is covered with fallen leaves and debris making underfoot conditions very slippy. In the interest of the health and safety of all our walkers we have decide it is best to cancel!

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. You are welcome to drop by for some tea coffee and banter at usual time , we will be delighted to see you !

Huge thanks to Louise and her team at Eclipse Cinemas Lifford-Strabane who hosted our Men’s Alternative Monday Club last night.

A very enjoyable evening for all concerned , the group members loved it and hope to return again soon. It’s great to have the continued support of the local business community. Thank you !

Start the week the right way. 🚶🚶‍♀️

Our WALKING FOR ALL group leaves the centre at 10am today for a gentle 1 mile walk along the water wall , looping around the Melvin arena and returning to the centre for tea , coffee and scones. 🫖☕️

It’s always fun , the conversation flows and the hardest part is always getting out the front door. 🚪

A few more of our newly qualified
Walking for All , Walk leaders braving the elements this morning to deliver their first group session. ☔️

Una , Anne and Ciaran led the group around our 1 mile route this morning , starting the week off the right way.

Well done to all 3 of them who are now officially qualified walk leaders. It’s great to have local people literally leading the way on positive health initiatives like this. 🏥

Why not join them next Monday at our centre from 10am and be part of this ! 🚶🚶‍♀️

A nice gentle walk to launch your weeks followed by refreshment , chat and laughs in our commminoty lounge area. ☕️🫖
