Living Better Rooted in Community. Powered By Movement. Backed By Evidence. Our mission is simple, to help people and communities move more and live better.

Living Better is a charity dedicated to improving health, happiness, and wellbeing across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We are here to support more people in being more active. Movement is a low-cost, high-impact intervention that prevents and treats chronic illness, improves mental health, and strengthens communities. By developing and delivering impactful programmes, forming partnerships, and embedding activity into local systems and policies, we aim to be part of the solution for building healthier, stronger communities. Our work is made possible by the generous support of our funders, donors, and grant providers. Their contributions empower us to create sustainable and meaningful change in the communities we serve.

Yesterday, organisations from across North Cambridge came together at Cambridge Business Park for a Living Better workshop, delivered on behalf of The Crown Estate and Savills💬

Together, they explored local barriers to health and activity - and how collaboration can help create healthier, more active communities.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed, it was a successful day with plenty of inspiring conversations! 💚

Delivery up and running ✅

This morning, Jazz and Kieran delivered the first taster session of the South Cambridgeshire Adult Social Games project to Horningsea Community Hub.

Members of the hub took part seated or standing, in different games of Boccia. Whilst there was plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and skills on show, were not so sure about the excuses that the floor was “slanted”🤭.

🥌🎲🎯

Thank you to the Adult Social Care team at Cambridgeshire County Council for funding this Community project across South Cambridgeshire.
