Thank you for an amazing session. Really positive feedback from everyone involved and look forward to working together in the near future The Kaleidoscope Plus Group Headway Black Country Cranstoun Sandwell

We were proud to deliver the very first Peer Support Session, ‘How to Enjoy Humour’, with Cranstoun service users following a series of training sessions delivered by KPG.

This completely peer-led project focused on using humour therapy within a mutual aid setting, creating a safe and uplifting space for connection, confidence and wellbeing.

A huge thank you to Ideal For All, Cranstoun, Headway Black Country and for helping to fund and arrange the session, and for supporting service users to attend through promotion and transport assistance.

Jon Hone, Service User Lead at Cranstoun, shared:

“Ranj from Kaleidoscope has been working with our volunteer team and clients over the past few weeks to develop independent peer-led group sessions.

This was a completely peer-led project focusing on using humour therapy in a mutual aid setting.

I was very impressed with the huge turnout (max capacity), the great vibe in the room and also the collaboration between Cranstoun, Kaleidoscope, Ideal For All and Headway to support clients to attend either through promotion or transport.

Feedback from service users was amazing and all were eager to attend a further session in future if available.

Great work Ranj and well done to Pom and Tanya for their delivery 😊”

Thank you to everyone involved in making the session such a success — we’re excited to see these peer-led sessions continue to grow.

Let’s Go Sandwell the support given has been massive in helping maintaining and supporting our people

Last year, socially responsible local businesses gave 4,000+ hours of expertise.

Our mutually beneficial support ensured employees benefit from disability awareness training, wellbeing support, and ‘give back’ opportunities.

Make a difference to disabled people and local communities whilst benefitting from the training and employee wellbeing initiatives we provide. Get involved!

Today is the 15th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) 🌍
On Thursday 21st May 2026, GAAD encourages everyone to talk, think, and learn about digital access and inclusion for people with disabilities.
It’s a chance to reflect on how we design and use technology — making sure it works for everyone. 💻♿
The GAAD Foundation, launched in 2021 to mark the 10th anniversary, continues to drive change by championing accessibility as a core part of digital design — not an afterthought.
Let’s work together to create a more inclusive digital world where no one is left behind.
