North Smethwick Development Trust North Smethwick Development Trust is a registered charity, we manage the Brasshouse Community Centre in Smethwick.

Our vision is to positively impact and unleash the potential of North Smethwick by promoting social inclusion and community wellbeing. North Smethwick Development Trust runs a range of activities including: Community Education and Development, Health & Wellbeing, Children and Young people and Art & Crafts. We also offer venue hire and high quality buffets. Join us for volunteering opportunities which are now available.

🎨🌹 BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

After such amazing feedback from our last sessions, we are excited to bring back our Roses & Castles Painting workshops at Brasshouse Community Centre — and this time, with the warmer weather, we will be outside in our community garden! ☀️🌿

Come along for a relaxed and friendly community art session where you can help decorate the garden using traditional Roses & Castles folk art inspired by the heritage of the Smethwick canals. 🖌️

✨ All materials provided
✨ A chance to get creative, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors
