We're delighted to be hosting Cape Custard by Black Country Touring at Brasshouse Community Centre this summer!

Step inside a magical inflatable theatre and embark on a thrilling family adventure inspired by Smethwick's famous Chance Brothers Glassworks. Expect mystery, laughter, creativity and plenty of fun for the whole family.

#🎉💙 SMETHWICK'S FUTURE IS LOOKING BRIGHT 💙🎉

We are incredibly proud to share this video celebrating the success of the Smethwick Pride in Place Programme and the exciting opportunities it brings for our town.

Smethwick has secured up to £20 million of Government investment over the next 10 years, giving local people a real opportunity to shape the future of our community. The programme is designed to put decision-making in the hands of the people who live and work here, ensuring that local voices remain at the heart of future investment and regeneration plans.

We are especially proud to see Brasshouse Community Centre and some of our local residents featured in this video. Their passion, ideas and commitment to Smethwick have helped shape the vision for the future of our town.

💌 LETTERS YOU'LL NEVER SEND – THE SHOW 💌

Have you ever wished you'd said something to someone?

A thank you.
An apology.
A goodbye.
Something you've carried for years.

🎭 Letters You'll Never Send is a moving, funny and deeply human theatre experience built entirely from anonymous letters written by ordinary people.

Performed by six professional actors with live music throughout, audiences will hear real letters that have never been spoken aloud before—letters to lost loved ones, former partners, parents, children, friends, themselves, and even to hope, fear and the future.

Every performance is unique, with local anonymous submissions potentially becoming part of the show.
