North Smethwick Development Trust North Smethwick Development Trust is a registered charity, we manage the Brasshouse Community Centre in Smethwick.

Our vision is to positively impact and unleash the potential of North Smethwick by promoting social inclusion and community wellbeing. North Smethwick Development Trust runs a range of activities including: Community Education and Development, Health & Wellbeing, Children and Young people and Art & Crafts. We also offer venue hire and high quality buffets. Join us for volunteering opportunities which are now available.

📢 WE’RE HIRING – MATCH DAY CAR PARK STEWARD! ⚽🚗

Join our team at Brasshouse Community Centre!

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people and providing great customer service. You’ll help welcome customers, collect parking payments and support the team to keep our match day car park running safely and smoothly.

🔞 Applicants must be aged 16 or over.
📍 Brasshouse Community Centre, Brasshouse Lane, Smethwick, B66 1BA
💷 Pay: National Minimum Wage
📝 Contract: Seasonal
⏰ Shifts: 3½ hours per shift
⚽ Working on West Bromwich Albion home match days – around 24 matches per season.

We’re excited to announce that our FREE Family Multi-Sports sessions are returning to Brasshouse Community Centre from Tuesday 6 October!

These fun and friendly sessions give children aged 6–12 the opportunity to try different sports, get active, build confidence and make new friends.
