🎬 THE WAIT IS OFFICIALLY OVER!
Welcome to the very first episode of our brand new monthly broadcasting project.
This initiative is brought to life by AJ Cafe in partnership with B-elevate and Slough Youth Parliament. Our goal is to give local youth a powerful platform where they learn to cook, serve a meal to a special guest, and host a fully filmed interview to gain wisdom, advice, and inspiration from leaders and voices in our community.

A CONVERSATION FROM THE HEART ❤️
In this first episode, our guests the Mayor & Mayoress spoke from the heart like they have never spoken before. It was an incredibly thought provoking and moving experience
I even found myself getting quite emotional.
They opened up about what inspired their journey and sharing profound advice, hope, and guidance for our young generation.

This episode is packed with pure heart, honesty, and powerful community connection it is a beautiful conversation you absolutely won't want to miss.

Veronica and Patricia from Beechwood School absolutely smashed it from start to finish! Not only did they learn to make and serve delicious jacket potatoes with cheese & beans for our guests, but their interviewing skills were incredible. They created an atmosphere so safe, warm, and comfortable that it allowed these heartfelt, deeply personal stories to come to light.

⚽ Community First at Arbor Park | Playing for a Cause
What a brilliant yet deeply meaningful evening yesterday at Arbor Park for the charity football match between Thames Valley Police and our local community. 🙌✨
Huge shoutout to Slough Borough
While it was a great game of football, the true heart of the evening was standing united against knife crime

🕊️ A Moment of Reflection: During the event, our thoughts and prayers went out to all the families and loved ones of those who have tragically lost their lives to knife crime. We play, remember, and work together to ensure a safer future for our youth
Thank you to everyone who came out to play, support, and show that our community stands together as one. 💙🏆

A special thank you to our volunteer Amel Bassaid for the love and care she puts every week into preparing food packages for families in need. ❤️

What makes them even more special is the beautiful touch she adds by placing flowers on top of the packages a simple gesture that can brighten someone’s day and remind them they are cared for. 🌸

It’s not just about food, it’s about kindness, dignity, and spreading a little hope during difficult times.
