Sunbeam is a leading independent fostering agency that provides a range of fostering placements The same founding directors remain at the heart of the company.

Sunbeam was established in 2000 by three Directors, now with combined social work experience amounting up to 90 years. Based in London, Sunbeam has successfully expanded to the Midlands (Sunbeam Midlands) and Home Counties (Sunbeam Pride Fostering). To date we have in excess of 400 foster carers available throughout England providing foster care to approximately 700 children. Sunbeam has secured s

everal contracts and is the preferred provider for the majority of London and the surrounding areas Local Authorities. We have a dedicated staff team with extensive social work experience within the fostering sector throughout the organisation right up to the Directors. Sunbeam London
Sunbeam Fostering Agency is one of the largest and most progressive independent foster care agencies in and around London, providing good quality and innovative family placements to children in care. Sunbeam Fostering Agency's head office is based in Langley, Berkshire. With resource centres to provide support to foster carers and children in Walthamstow, Wembley, Croydon and Portsmouth. The London business is registered with Ofsted and rated Good. Sunbeam Midlands
Sunbeam Fostering Agency has an office in Coventry, which was opened in 2009 and is separately registered with Ofsted. To support our Coventry office, we have also resource centres in Nottingham and Birmingham. Sunbeam Pride
Sunbeam Pride Fostering Service is an Independent Fostering Agency registered with Ofsted providing high quality and well supported fostering placements for a diverse range of looked after children and young people. The company was established in 2009 in order to provide specialist placements for children with complex and challenging needs as well as mainstream foster care. We have a resource centre in Northamptonshire. Sunbeam Pride is based in Luton and separately registered with Ofsted - rated Good.

Last week our East Midlands team hosted a very successful Day 3 of our Skill to Foster training. With fantastic attendance, all the applicants were fully engaged, learning from our experienced social workers and staff members.

A delicious lunch provided the perfect opportunity for everyone to relax, connect and build lasting bonds with one another.

Everyone found the training very insightful and interactive. Many attendees shared how welcomed and supported they felt by the team, with several already feeling like part of the Sunbeam Family.

Most importantly, they left the day feeling more confident and prepared to welcome a child into their home once approved.

Our West Midlands team recently hosted Day 3 of the Skills to Foster training at our Coventry office. Our applicants dived into interactive sessions led by our expert staff and social workers.

We also shared a lovely lunch together, the perfect chance to relax and bond with others.

By the end of the training everyone left felt better prepared and more confident to begin their fostering journey.
