Seaside Hospital Radio was founded on 24th September 1972 and has expanded from that original team of eight enthusiasts to become a registered charity ( #297515) that provides music, news and radio entertainment to the patients, staff, visitors and friends of Worthing & Southlands Hospitals - 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. Our service is FREE and our organisation staffed wholly by volunteers. We can a

This Saturday's A Rude Awakening show will mark the end of an era for Seaside Hospital Radio . It will be the last live show from our current studio suite in Southlands Hospital.
The NHS Trust have big plans for the area that we currently occupy and so we are moving on up. Up to the cloud ☁️, to be precise.
At the moment everything we broadcast comes from Southlands but as of at some point tomorrow (Saturday )we will be entirely cloud based. We will endeavour to keep our service running seamlessly but there may be a brief interruption while we shuffle things around. The Listen Live button on our website at seasidehr.com will be pointing to our shows and services like Alexa will follow shortly. It's going to be an interesting day.
