Good afternoon, everyone. I have some emotionally devastating news regarding a known figure in television.
Unfortunately, a couple of days ago, beloved actor and disability rights activist, RJ Mitte, had passed away in his home at 34, taking away his own life.
He was most known for his role as Walter White Jr (known later in the series as Flynn), the son of the sinister protagonist Walter White in hit show Breaking Bad. While his character has a very complicated relationship with his father in the show (pictured is a dialogue with him over the phone, swearing at him and hoping he dies), his relationship with Bryan Cranston, the actor portraying him, was very profound, with the latter even calling him his "sweet son" after he got the news.
Being born with cerebral palsy, him playing a character that shares his condition helped bring representation to TV audiences during the shows run, and really displays his advocacy for others with disabilities.
Despite being a seemingly cheerful person, he likely had motivations for his su***de. So remember that your friends and family, despite coming off as joyous, could still be going through something you can't fully see, so be sure to check up on them, especially if they've displayed a few signs which make you unsure of their wellbeing.
Rest in peace, you would've loved SOLD, RJ!
