Entering the surgery earlier this week to attend a meeting I heard a shout of 'help' from behind me. A patient was collapsing. Within a very short space of time he was attended by clinicians assisting him. I later learnt the receptionists now have the ability to press a button to summon help. I think we should all be reassured and grateful for the care we receive.

Selsey Patient Group are holding the annual patient satisfaction survey. Paper surveys are available in the surgery or you can complete the survey using the QR code below. We read all comments and suggestions and assist the surgery to make improvements where possible.

Selsey Library are holding a drop in session on 20th October at 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm to help patients with the NHS App. Other libraries are also running a session (on different days).

To comply with confidentiality, patients are no longer asked to explain their health symptoms at the reception desk. This is one reason the Total Triage system was introduced - the other reason being to better manage the increasing demand on our health services at the Medical Centre. However, help will always be available.

We should all attempt some exercise, irrespective of age. The diagram below shows the real difference it makes as we age.
